A new version of the closed caption decoder is available. That's the DV1AV closed caption decoder with RCA composite video input/output connections. This model is designed for TVs, plasma screens, and monitors which do NOT have an RF coax input, but does have an RCA video input connection. It also works with DVD players as long as they support closed caption - which most DVD players do. If you're not sure, contact your DVD player manufacturer. The DV1AV operates and hooks up the same as the standard DV-1.
