How would feel if you were in a hotel room and couldn't hear the phone ring or the fire alarm go off? Someone knocks on the door, but you have no clue of what's going on! This is the reality for many deaf and hard of hearing individuals, who face accessibility barriers on a daily basis. Congratulations on your decision to provide your deaf and hard of hearing patrons with the tools they need to have a pleasant stay in your facility. The ADA4000 Kit is the best package to provide for a guest in a two-room or larger suite. This is the most convenient and accessible model, requiring minimal staff training and installation/maitenance time. The kit includes: Minicom IV TTY - a text telephone which allows Deaf or Hearing Impaired guests to make and receive text or VCO (voice carry-over) phone calls. The Minicom IV can be used acoustically by placing the handset of a standard telephone on the acoustic couplers of the TTY. One year warranty. AM-6000 Alertmaster Notification System consists of a base unit, a bed shaker (with cord), a wireless doorbell transmitter, and a personal page switch. Guests will be alerted when the telephone rings, someone is at the door, or the built-in clock alarm goes off. Optional transmitters and/or receivers may be added. Compact and easy to use, the system requires no wiring. Simply plug the AM-6000 into a standard electrical outlet. One year warranty. AM-RX2 Alertmaster Remote Receiver notifies of activities in another room, such as living room or kitchen. It can be connected to lamps in any room up to 80 feet from master console unit and will flash in distinctive patterns and illuminate icons to identify each household event. No wiring required, just plug it in. One year warranty. HA-40 In-Line Telephone Amplifier connects between the handset and phone base to enhance clarity and increase the volume of incoming calls up to 40 dB. Amplifiers are compatible with most non-amplified phones with modular handsets. One year warranty. 710LS Audio/Visual Smoke Detector - designed to give reliable early warning of the presence of smoke where both audio and visual alarms are required. One year warranty. ADA Compliance Sign - Let your patrons know that you have assistive devices available. This 11 1/2" x 5" acrylic sign comes with adhesive strips on the back.
